We\u2019re Bob and Lisa. We\u2019re a couple who met later in life. When Bob moved to St. Augustine in 2007, he didn\u2019t know anyone, so he joined eHarmony. Lisa was already on eHarmony. We went on our first date on July 7th, 2007. That\u2019s right; our first date was on \u201cjackpot\u201d day, 7-7-7. We were married in November 2009.<\/p>

In January 2010, Bob was diagnosed with a congenital condition that will eventually take his vision. After four surgeries over the next year, we decided to travel and see the country. During the summer of 2011, we sold almost everything we owned and set out on our \u201cGrand Adventure.\u201d Over the next four years, we lived in North Dakota, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado. Lisa worked as a traveling nurse. During her time off, we went sightseeing.<\/p>

In 2014, we moved to Arizona to be closer to our grandsons. But the \u201cGrand Adventure\u201d did not stop there. We visited areas in the southwestern US, hiked on beaches in California and Texas, and drove to the top of 14ers in Colorado. In October 2018, we went on a Disney cruise through the Panama Canal while skirting around a hurricane.<\/p>

In 2019, after the grandsons moved back to Florida, we were presented with an opportunity to return to Florida. Lisa arrived in mid-November while Bob followed just before Christmas. We had just begun settling into our new home when COVID hit.<\/p>

To protect ourselves from the virus, we have put our \u201cGrand Adventure\u201d on hold. As COVID has lingered, we have changed how we travel. We are taking shorter trips that allow us to maintain social distancing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
