Let’s get started, shall we?
I was watching Jordan Klepper on The Daily Show as he was interviewing people at the recent Iowa rally held by the deposed wannabe dictator. He tends to search for the “best and the brightest” among the party-goers and is pretty successful.

Some of the people he interviewed, especially those who identify as being followers of Q (not the TNG Q), appear to honestly believe that Trump won the 2020 election and is still running the government despite all evidence to the contrary. One gentleman even said that all the news surrounding Biden is fake and that Trump is the one who flies on Air Force One.

OK!

Let’s say, for argument’s sake, they’re correct. They’re not! If Trump did win and is the legitimate President, this would be his SECOND term. Let’s all agree we are currently in Trump’s SECOND term and he is actually running the country.

Enter the United States Constitution. The same Constitution Trump contends he holds dear, although I doubt he has ever read it. The same Constitution his devotees claim they also hold dear, although I doubt they have ever read it either. The same Constitution that he and the most fervent of his followers ignored as they tried to overthrow the very government they were claiming to be protecting.

That Constitution!

Now thumb through the Constitution, all the way to the back, to the section entitled “The Amendments.” You know this section! This section is where some of the most misquoted and misinterpreted words of the English language originate. That being the 2nd Amendment! But we’re not here for that one. No, we want to continue to the 22nd Amendment! That’s the one that starts, “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, . . . .”

Wait! What?

Now, these Retrumplicans have some decisions to make. All this will make their heads explode. There are only three logical options from which to choose.

Option One: They continue to hold dear the Constitution and defend what it stands for. They admit Trump lost. They recognize Joe Biden as the legitimate President. They prepare for the election in 2024.

Option Two: They continue to hold dear the Constitution and defend what it stands for. They stand by their false allegations that Trump won and recognize him as the President. They must therefore concede that Trump can not run again in 2024.

Option Three: They abandon their belief in the Constitution and the Democracy it establishes. They stand by their false allegations that Trump won and recognize him as the President. They prepare for another fraudulent election.

However, and all of us who reside in reality know this is what is going to happen; they will espouse a fourth, yet fallacious option. This is the current rhetoric spewing from the Retrumplicans! That Trump won and is the President and he will be running in 2024. Constitution be damned!

The fact that he and his followers do not reside in reality should, by itself, preclude him from ever holding office again!

  1. Good website! I truly love how it is simple on my eyes and the data are well written. I am wondering how I might be notified whenever a new post has been made. I’ve subscribed to your feed which must do the trick! Have a nice day!

  2. Howdy! I could have sworn I’ve been to this blog before but after browsing through some of the post I realized it’s new to me. Anyhow, I’m definitely glad I found it and I’ll be bookmarking and checking back frequently!

  3. Yet another thing I would like to express is that in lieu of trying to suit all your online degree lessons on days that you end work (since the majority of people are tired when they return home), try to find most of your lessons on the weekends and only 1 or 2 courses for weekdays, even if it means a little time away from your weekend. This pays off because on the weekends, you will be a lot more rested and concentrated upon school work. Thanks alot : ) for the different ideas I have learned from your blog site.

  4. I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It抯 pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be a lot more useful than ever before.
